The airline’s flight has long been known as the “Trip to Hel.” The last such trip took place on Friday, October 13, 2017, landing ahead of schedule at Helsinki airport. Despite the superstitious implications—666 is associated with the devil, the airport code is HEL, and the number 13 is considered unlucky in many a country — the airplane was fully booked, except for seat 13F because the passenger who was supposed to sit there missed his flight.
